Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping schedules using ERP systems
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments in real-time
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve delivery issues
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Optimize routing to minimize costs and transit times
- Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
- Communicate shipment status proactively to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
