Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control in refrigerated storage units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming/outgoing products
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Inventory management using RF scanning technology
- Coordinate with truck drivers for efficient dock scheduling
- Document temperature logs and shipment records
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to flexible shift times
- Physical stamina for standing/walking 8+ hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
