Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to company standards and customer orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging is secure and ready for transit.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and labeling packages correctly.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the packing station organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during shifts.
- Basic Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for accurate counting and labeling.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid ID.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
