Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials within warehouse and yard
- Load/unload shipments from trailers with precision and efficiency
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation using WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for coordinated material handling
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and accessibility
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pre-employment drug screening required
