Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new hires on safe equipment operation practices
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license preferred
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
