Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using scanning technology.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift Certification required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
