Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and organize inventory.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging before storage or shipment.
- Organization: Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Counterbalance or Reach Truck) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Driver's License: Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
