Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Load/unload shipments with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain organized warehouse layout through strategic stock placement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all material handling activities
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Clean driving record and background check clearance
