Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move inventory within 100,000 sq ft facility
- Execute daily inventory counts using WMS systems with 99.8% accuracy
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols while loading/unloading shipping containers
- Perform pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily throughput targets
- Train junior operators on advanced maneuvering techniques
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation procedures
- Document all activities using digital tracking systems
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current and verifiable)
- 3+ years warehouse/forklift experience in high-volume environments
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand 8+ hours daily
- Forklift endorsements for narrow-aisle and reach operations
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Spanish bilingual a plus for diverse team collaboration
