Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load/unload shipments with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to optimize material flow and turnaround times
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Support cross-functional team members during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current and verifiable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
- Valid Ohio driver's license preferred
- Forklift certification (Sit-Down/Reach Truck/Rider Pallet Jack)
