Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in maintaining organized, clean, and efficient warehouse spaces
- Document daily operations and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of safety standards and material handling procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Clean background check and pre-employment drug screen clearance
