Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory with precision
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload trucks and containers following FIFO protocols and safety standards
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily productivity targets
- Train on new warehouse technologies as systems evolve
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
