Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently throughout the facility
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload shipments and verify inventory accuracy against documentation
- Follow strict safety protocols including OSHA standards and company procedures
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Complete accurate paperwork for inventory tracking and movement reports
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory records
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
