Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload shipments with precision using pallet jacks and electric pallet trucks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Optimize inventory rotation using FIFO methods and WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company security procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (mandatory)
- 2+ years warehouse/forklift experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work 8-12 hour shifts
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
