Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to handle materials in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving products efficiently and safely, ensuring that all operations comply with company and OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring that all items are handled carefully and securely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues
- Assist in inventory management by scanning and tracking products
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
