Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move pallets of inventory within warehouse
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks
- Load/unload trucks using proper stacking techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records via WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams
- Perform basic equipment maintenance (battery changes, fluid checks)
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Pass background/drug screening
