Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in 100,000 sq ft warehouse environment
- Load/unload shipments using proper weight distribution techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory using RF scanning technology
- Maintain OSHA compliance for all material handling activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Train new hires on safety protocols and equipment operation
Qualifications
- 1+ years of forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
