Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing incoming shipments
- Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
