Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company protocols
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize inventory flow and efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Assist in warehouse organization and space utilization
- Train new hires on safe equipment operation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
