Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Load/unroll trucks and containers with attention to weight distribution and security protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train new hires on safe material handling practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current and verifiable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends when needed
