Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock settings
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on equipment, reporting issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
- Organize and stage materials for efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of prior forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system navigation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
