Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unroll freight with precision using pallet jacks and hydraulic equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and cycle counting documentation
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including PPE requirements and aisle markings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Train on new warehouse technologies and automation systems
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Basic computer literacy for WMS systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Valid Florida driver's license
