Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic scanning and documentation
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and efficiency
- Assist in receiving, stacking, and organizing materials in designated storage areas
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environmental conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
