Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections, pre-shift safety checks, and basic preventative maintenance
- Load/unload trucks using forklifts while adhering to OSHA safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and storage efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
