Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts daily (battery, fluid levels, safety features)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production targets
- Ensure all operations comply with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Organize and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours per day
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
