Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a warehouse setting
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting malfunctions immediately
- Accurately track inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Assist in receiving, stacking, and organizing palletized goods in designated zones
- Participate in regular safety training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 2+ years of recent experience
- Ability to read and interpret inventory labels, shipping documents, and warehouse layouts
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management software
- Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Must be punctual, reliable, and demonstrate a safety-first mindset
