Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products within warehouse facilities
- Execute inventory control procedures through systematic scanning and documentation of all movements
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent operational disruptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules and dock efficiency
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license with minimum 2 years recent experience
- Proven ability to safely operate multiple forklift types (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack)
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and barcode scanning technology
- Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature environments
- Excellent communication skills for clear team coordination during high-volume operations
