Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to move, locate, and verify stock and materials.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and containers efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding stock levels and hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting.
