Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload merchandise from trailers, railcars, or staging areas accurately.
- Organize and stock inventory within the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
