Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in warehouse environments
- Load/unload goods using proper stacking and securing techniques
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems
- Adhere strictly to HSE safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize workflow
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid UK forklift operator certification (RTITB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years' recent forklift experience in industrial settings
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 25kg unassisted
- Valid UK work permit if applicable
- Reliable transport to Birmingham industrial areas
