Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials in warehouse/distribution settings
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Assist in warehouse organization, stacking, and storage of goods
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Support inventory audits and cycle counts as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to early morning/late evening shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred
