Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized goods efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation and movement records
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and order pickers as needed
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in dynamic settings
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
