Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock areas
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure safe operating conditions and report maintenance needs
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines for material handling
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery as needed
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and proper lifting techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and material verification
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
