Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately check and record inventory counts using handheld scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of shipping and receiving orders.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure zero accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software.
