Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Safely load/unload trucks and organize inventory using RF scanners
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow
- Adhere to strict inventory control procedures and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain free training)
- Minimum 6 months recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail
- Reliable transportation to industrial zones (O'Hare, South Suburbs)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills and inventory tracking knowledge
