Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform daily inventory checks and ensure accurate stock placement using barcode scanners.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet shipping and receiving deadlines efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure proper documentation of all loading and unloading activities.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CPL) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking software.
