Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility and onto delivery trucks.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize stock in designated storage zones.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist in packaging and labeling shipments as required.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class 1, 3, or 4) with valid state license.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret pick lists and packing slips.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
