Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-speed warehouse environments
- Accurately load/untractors using FIFO inventory methods
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and maintenance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment targets
- Adhere to OSHA compliance and company safety protocols
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counting procedures
- Train on specialized equipment (reach trucks, order pickers)
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand 8+ hours per shift
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
