Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper placement of goods.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all machinery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to lift and move heavy pallets (up to 50+ lbs) consistently.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to the New Orleans worksite.
