Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Load/unload shipments with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation processes
- Complete digital paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (current and verifiable)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in warehouse logistics operations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to multiple NYC job sites
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Experience with RF scanners and inventory software
