Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize and maintain inventory by ensuring stock is properly stacked, labeled, and stored.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to minimize errors.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not always required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
