Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine safety inspections on all equipment before and after shifts to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging and organizing stock according to company protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL preferred but not always required depending on the specific lift type).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
