Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (including stand-up, sit-down, and pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, and stage merchandise for shipping and receiving operations.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data and scanning barcodes.
