Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanning technology
- Maintain clean and organized work zones following 5S methodology
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Adhere to all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures
- Train new hires on material handling best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong problem-solving skills and spatial awareness
