Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, warehouse protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes and meet daily productivity goals.
- Ensure the proper handling of hazardous materials and fragile goods when required.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
