Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping and organizing storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Accurately process shipping and receiving paperwork and update inventory systems.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packing, labeling, and order picking.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments (warehouse climate control).
