Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets, racks, and materials throughout the facility.
- Load/Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper securing techniques to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and organizing stock areas.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and operational accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
