Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on machinery and report any defects.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Inventory: Assist with cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Driver's License: Valid state driver's license is preferred (not always required).
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Attitude: Positive, eager-to-learn mindset with a strong work ethic.
