Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning and organizing stock efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with speed and accuracy.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to maximize operational flow.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class B or CDL preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
