Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and move materials to designated storage areas within the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies strictly.
- Perform inventory counts and accurately document material movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and ability to read pick tickets and labels.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
